Tushar: Brotherly figure, always helpful, great at mimicking, watch him sometimes imitating Javagal Srinath or Arnold. He is doing his PhD in Chemical Engg. Natively from Bombay, he has got great fundae. Click here to see his homepage. Nitin: An IITian (Delhi), he is also a music enthusiast (and also a KK fan) like me. We keep on pulling each other's legs every now and then. Click here to visit his homepage. Harsha: A Telugu guy, he is doing his MS in Electrical Engg. Very nice by heart, he is a great pickle-lover! Rohit: This guy is from Mangalore and he worked with me in the same lab for two semesters. He loves fun and often forces me to accompany him to some nice place. This stud from IITK is very good at doing the right thing at the right time. Anirban: If you are running out of gossips, this is the guy you should talk with. Always full of hot news of town or other places, this IITian has lots of fundae on how to convince a person.

Amit Agarwal: The less you say about him, the better it is. During my 4 year stay with him at IITB, he always messed up with something or other. There are so many stories to tell about him! Once he took the film roll out just to check if the snaps were taken properly! An avid dancer, he is in IIMC right now. Pawan Prabhat: For him, there are only two worlds: extremely good or extremely bad; nothing in between. I believe, people working under him will be either immediately promoted or immediately dumped out. This guy is currently in Geometric Pune. Pradeep Singh: This Banarsi is always honest with his goals. He was one of the members of our chaukdi (Amit, Pawan, Pradeep and me) in IITB-H5. Aatish: Always in nbd (as in IITian lingo), this guy will give you hazaar fundae even if you are not ready to listen! He is in Phillips, Netherland, pursuing with his goal of research in a company. Rajagopal: Maddu , as we call him never gives up. He has at least thousand of dreams to come true. God knows, how many of them will really come even close to coming true. He is the unofficial news maker of our group. Currently at UMD, he is all set to become an entrepreneur. Ranjeet: His deadly smile has almost caused death to many people of fair sex. A very nice person and always ready to help you out, he is in Sapient-Delhi right now. In fact I never remember him getting angry at anyone. Gawtham Goli: This guy from Rajmundari improved his (Hindi) vocabulary immensely after coming to IIT. In fact he's started using some sanskrit words (which he claims, are actually from Telugu) in his mails! Currently, he is in Simplex - Japan and in fact hiring people! Rajesh Vats: This guy, majorly known as guru, will never let you down when you are with him. As rightly the nick name says, he has hazaar fundae on general aspects of life. Currently in Maruti - Delhi, he is keeping very busy now-a-days. Aditya Dhar: This munda from kashmir is not as pseud as he looks. Pure desi by heart, even after living for more than two years in Rice University - Houston, he is more or less same as he was in IIT. The only difference is perhaps, he has got "other" friend as well. KP: He is very spiritual or that is what he claims but believe me, he is not. This Lucknavi gets easily moved by looking at poor and wretched. You wouldn't believe me, when he came to India after staying for 1.5 years at UT - Austin, he spent half of his time working in some NGO located in the interior of Central Bihar. Kudos to you. The CIM batch: So many of them...Despo, Mayank, Homo, Jeet, Reuben, Issac, Ali, Gupta jee, Bohra.. The Mech batch: This list is even longer. I'm not gonna name them all. |

Ashish : Jha as we call him, smells the food. When we were in Science college, Patna; he used to make out if a food is being cooked just by looking at the fluctuation in voltage (anticipating some one switched on the heater) and before you can have your first bite, he is there knocking at your door! In Netarhat, he was notorious for not sharing his grub. Well, he is quite handsome and even at dry places such as IIT, he did manage to attract some fair sex lads. Ashutosh : Bholu, his nickname, used to scare Jha out of death in Hat. I lost track of him after our schooling and am still waiting to hear about him from someone. Neeleshwar: He was one of the leaders in our school. Don't get misled, leaders were not supposed to be something good in the eyes of teachers. The last I heard from him was when he was in REC, Surat. Arvind: Poly is the person who will sacrifice his own interests for you. Its difficult to find such a nice and humble person in this era. After having a few failures on the love-front, he is concentrating hard to shine in the administrative services. Pankaj: This guy never looks in trouble, though most of the time he is. Always smiling, he is a great entertainer. I haven't heard from him for quite long. Other friends of high school Sanjay: This person is very good at convincing others. He can give you company for hours without making you realize. He is very strong in GS and can give you hazaar fundaes on national and international arena. Ashok: There were days when I and Ashok used to go to have a cup of tea in the morning just before the self-study period in Science College, Patna. The warden would see us and then just give a big smile because he was having "Paan" at a nearby shop. Very strong in Physics, he is doing M. Sc. in it from IITD. PC: This womanizer is going to make a big medical surgeon after completing his MBBS from MAMC, Delhi. Prakash Chandra, as very few would know his original name, is a big time entertainer with his PJs. Ajitabh: Ajitabh is the saint of our batch. Always very sincere towards his goal, he joined IITK and then cracked all the IIMS. Currently, he is in IIMA (obviously) completing his MBA. Vishal Anand: Sir, as many would call him, is a great music enthusiast. There ain't too many instruments that he doesn't know how to play. After finishing his BE from ISM, Dhanbad, he disappeared. Still waiting to hear about him. Manish: Lichchad is a nice person to talk to. He will peel you off with his friendly comments. Currently in NTPC - Noida, he is our one of the two batch mates who sat for IAS interview this year. The other was Rajnish Jha. |
